Citrus x limon Eureka

Eureka is a lemon variety that fruits and flowers for much of the year. It blooms most abundantly from spring to early autumn; its fragrant flowers are white, although the buds have a purple tint. The plants are self-fertile, usually grown from grafts, and are quite thorny in their early years. It needs a sunny spot and well-drained soil rich in nutrients. Its water needs are moderate. Fertilizing is necessary. It is frost-sensitive, so it should be overwintered in a frost-free place. In ten years it reaches a height of 2 meters.
